The Glory Be
The first Christians used short doxologies (praises of God) in their liturgy.
The form “Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit” was already being used in the 2nd–3rd century.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.
